Sending a Mail/Care Package

You can send the inmate photos and mail. You should only send 2 photos at a time with your letter. These photos need to be G-rated. All photos, all letters will be looked at and read prior to the correctional officer giving them to the inmate.

Sending Money

You can either mail a money order directly to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center. The money order should have the inmate’s information on it. Or you can drop the money order off when you go to visit the inmate.

Either way, the funds will typically be deposited into the inmate’s account within a day or two.

The inmate will need to wait for the funds to be deposited into their account before they can purchase items from the commissary or put money in their phone account.

Visitation

All you will need to bring with you is your photo identification card to be permitted into the visitation area.

If you have that, you will be allowed to visit an inmate.
