The Collin County Detention Facility is a medium-security county detention center located in McKinney, Texas. The Collin County Detention Facility is operated under the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.

Visitation

Before you visit an inmate, you will want to contact the Collin County Detention Facility to ensure that the inmate is in the facility and not appearing in court.

Inmates will be allowed to visit two visitors per day. Visitors are welcomed to visit an inmate in the Collin County Detention Facility daily from 9 am to 6 pm.

All visits in the Collin County Detention Facility will be behind a glass wall. You will not be permitted to have ANY contact with the inmate. Not even a quick handshake.
