FCI Estill Inmate Search and Prison Information
100 PRISON ROAD ESTILL, SC, 29918
The FCI Estill is short for Federal Correctional Institution Estill.
The Federal Correctional Institution Estill started operation near the end of the 1980 Olympics, but the facility did not see their first inmates for a few months after.
Then in 2010, the FCI Estill celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of their opening. Only a few years later in 2016, the Federal Correctional Institution was one of the first facilities to try out the pilot Pell Grant program, which would allow inmates to take college classes thanks to the HAMPTON Community College.
The FCI Estill is a medium-security federal prison nestled in Essex County, New York.
Over the years, the Federal Bureau of Prison started receiving many complaints about the living conditions that were at the FCI Estill.

Sending a Mail/Care Package
All mail that is sent to the FCI Estill will be opened by a correctional officer.
Even legal mail is opened by a correctional officer, but the inmate will be present for that opening.
All mail is then examined and checked for safety. If contraband is found in the mail, it will be properly disposed of.
All mail should be made out to the inmate and the inmate number on the envelope as well.
While you may think that an inmate in the Federal Correctional Institution does not need money, you would be highly incorrect. They will need money. While the FCI Estill oversees giving inmates their three meals a day, inmates will need hygiene products and other items that they may want.
They can purchase these said items from the commissary. The commissary will have all their needs.
You can deposit money through Western Union, sending a money order, or MoneyGram.
Inmates at the FCI Estill can have the chance to call you using the telephones in the common areas. These telephones will require them to have money in their account to make these calls.
Inmates will be able to call home for 15-minutes. The facility has capped inmates at 300 minutes a month between the months of January to October. The facility will give inmates an additional 100 minutes a month in November and December.
