Sending a Mail/Care Package
You can send the inmate photos and mail. You should only send 2 photos at a time with your letter. These photos need to be G-rated. All photos, all letters will be looked at and read prior to the correctional officer giving them to the inmate.
Sending Money
You can either mail a money order directly to the Oklahoma County Detention Center. The money order should have the inmate’s information on it. Or you can drop the money order off when you go to visit the inmate.
Either way, the funds will typically be deposited into the inmate’s account within a day or two.
The inmate will need to wait for the funds to be deposited into their account before they can purchase items from the commissary or put money in their phone account.

Visitation
Visitation here at the Oklahoma County Detention Center is held daily. You can visit an inmate in the Oklahoma County Detention Center between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm.
All you will need to bring with you is your photo identification card to be permitted into the visitation area.
If you have that, you will be allowed to visit an inmate.
Keep in mind if an inmate is in the courtroom, they will not be allowed to have visitors. It is best to contact the Oklahoma County Detention Center before showing up to make sure they are in the facility.
