If the inmate is a pre-trial detainee, most people stick with collect calls. If the inmate is serving out a full-blown sentence many people will go with the plans from Securus Technologies.

It will be completely up to you and the inmate to decide what to do and what will work for your situation.

Just remember that collect calls will make you in charge of paying those fees. Collect calls also cannot be picked up on a mobile phone either.

If you go with Securus Technologies, inmates will have no problem whatsoever being able to call a mobile phone number.
