Inmates can also get books, newspapers, and magazines through the mail as well. These items will be required to be new and be sent to the St. Louis Juvenile Detention Center from the bookstore or the publisher. All books need to be paperback. The St. Louis Juvenile Detention Center will not accept hardcover books.
