Sending a Mail/Care Package

You can send the inmate photos and mail. You should only send 2 photos at a time with your letter. These photos need to be G-rated. All photos, all letters will be looked at and read prior to the correctional officer giving them to the inmate.

Sending Money

You can either mail a money order directly to the Franklin County Jail. The money order should have the inmate’s information on it. Or you can drop the money order off when you go to visit the inmate.

Either way, the funds will typically be deposited into the inmate’s account within a day or two.

The inmate will need to wait for the funds to be deposited into their account before they can purchase items from the commissary or put money in their phone account.

Visitation here at the Franklin County Jail is held daily. You can visit an inmate in the Franklin County Jail between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm.
