About Kentucky Department of Corrections

The state of Kentucky has a Department of Corrections. The Department of Corrections is just like any other department within their state government. They are responsible for one task and one task only. However, with corrections, that task is huge or daunting in some people’s minds. Their task is to ensure that they have prepared their facilities and employees, have the best technology within these same facilities, and work out protocols that keeps everything operation smoothly and people safe. Their main office that the higher ups stay at or should I say work at is in Frankfort. The main priority here is to make sure that these residents or wards of the state are in a compassionate, protected, yet secured environment. Everyone who is in the custody of the state will always be treated like they matter. No one will ever treat anyone like they are less of a person.
