Under the District of Columbia Department of Corrections watchful eye, the department has at least 17 offices throughout the territory. These offices can be jails, probation, or parole offices. All buildings are always protected 24 hours out of the day. All offices will have the right resources and tools that they need to handle any and all things that may arise. All employees in the department will be trained to a standard that they must continue to meet, if they want to stay employed with the department. On a normal day here in the DOC, you can expect to oversee a population of 2,600 offenders. All facilities are registered and approved by the ACA organization. All facilities also have the best of the best security, wellness programs, and educational type of programs as well.
