The Dallas County Jail is a medium-security county detention center located in Selma, Alabama. The Dallas County Jail is operated under the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Visitation

Before you visit an inmate, you will want to contact the Dallas County Jail to ensure that the inmate is in the facility and not appearing in court.

Inmates will be allowed to visit two visitors per day. Visitors are welcomed to visit an inmate in the Dallas County Jail daily from 9 am to 6 pm.

All visits in the Dallas County Jail will be behind a glass wall. You will not be permitted to have ANY contact with the inmate. Not even a quick handshake.
